NZM7-...-NA(-M8) molded case switched are virtually identical in construction to the molded case circuit breakers, except that they are manual, non-automatic switches without any overload or over current protective features, and are rated up to 200A.

All molded case  switches are UL listed (UL 489) and CSA certified (C 22.2 Nr. 5.2).  They are also in conformity with IEC/EN 60 947-3 (switch-disconnectors) and are CE marked.  Consult technical data and Moeller Electric for IEC-EN ratings.  Molded case switches are tested to determine their acceptability for continuous operation at their marked rated load.  Also, they are tested at 6 times their full ampere rating to cover motor circuit applications and are suitable for use as motor circuit disconnects per Section 430-109 of the NEC and Section 28-602 of the CEC.

Legacy Circuit Breakers

When purchasing the NZM7-200-NA, you will need the full part number off your model circuit breaker.

Standard Breakers have 3 power wires in (L1-L2-L3) on the top, and 3 power wires out (T1-T2-T3) on the bottom.

Any other control wires will indicate some sort of modification accessory is installed!

Accessories can be identified by small labels on the breaker, with part numbers such as

a.                   (u-nzm7) (230, 60) Indicates under voltage trip which needs 230 volt 60hz applied to turn the breaker on.

b.                   (a-nzm7) (230,60) Indicates shunt trip which needs 230 volt 60hz applied to turn the breaker off.

c.                   (rhi, nhi, ahi -xx) Would be auxiliary contacts.

If the labels cannot be read or to double check their usage record all the terminal numbers that have control wires on them, and your KMparts  Specialist will advise you of your best options.

Please note any of the above when ordering. Also check to see if they are even used. If they are present but there are no wires on them then chances are you don’t need them.
