The Moeller PKZM0-6.3/SP is a 3-phase thermal magnetic manual motor protector designed to provide both overload and short-circuit protection for motors and branch circuits. It features an adjustable thermal range of 4–6.3 A and a magnetic trip setting of 88 A. With a UL/CSA motor horsepower rating of 1.5 HP at 230 V and 3 HP at 460 V, this device is well-suited for a wide variety of industrial applications. Certified by UL and CSA as a Type E self-protected combination controller, it integrates overload, short-circuit, disconnect, and controller functions into one compact unit, eliminating the need for external fuses or breakers. Approved for group installations under NEC 430.53 and CEC Rule 28-206, the PKZM0-6.3/SP offers cost and space savings in control panels. It may also be paired with magnetic contactors for remote operation and is suitable as a Type E starter for grounded Wye systems above 240 V.
