The Moeller PKZM0-10/SP is a 3-phase thermal magnetic manual motor protector that provides complete overload and short-circuit protection for motors and branch circuits. It features an adjustable thermal range of 6.3–11 A and a magnetic trip setting of 140 A. With a UL/CSA motor horsepower rating of 3 HP at 230 V and 7.5 HP at 460 V, it is suitable for demanding motor applications. UL-listed and CSA-certified as a Type E self-protected combination controller, the PKZM0-10/SP combines overload, short-circuit, disconnect, and controller functions into a single unit, eliminating the need for external fuses or breakers. Marked “Suitable for group installations” per NEC 430.53 and CEC Rule 28-206, it helps optimize cost and panel space in control assemblies. The device may also be paired with magnetic contactors for remote operation and is approved for use as a Type E starter on grounded Wye systems above 240 V.
