The Moeller PKZM0-0.4/SP is a 3-phase thermal magnetic manual motor protector designed for dependable protection of motors and branch circuits. It features an adjustable thermal range of 0.25–0.4 A for motor overload protection and magnetic trips rated at 5.6 A for branch short-circuit protection. UL-listed and CSA-certified as a Type E self-protected combination controller, the PKZM0-0.4/SP integrates short-circuit, overload, disconnect, and controller functions into one compact device, eliminating the need for external fuses or breakers. It is also marked “Suitable for group installations” in accordance with NEC 430.53 and CEC Part 1, Rule 28-206, allowing multiple motors to be protected cost-effectively in shared circuits. The device may be paired with contactors for remote operation and is suitable as a Type E starter for grounded Wye power systems above 240 V.
