The safety of the personnel and of the machine must be considered for the entire lifecycle. It is a primary concern right from the very outset with the machine specifications and during realization and development of the concept – and includes the manufacturing, installation, commissioning and normal operation of the machine – and takes repair and maintenance considerations as well as decommissioning and disposal of the machine at the end of the lifecycle into account.
