Circuit Breaker Overview

Circuit-breakers from the new NZMC series with 36kA short-circuit breaking capacity  and rated currents from 20-500A are ideal for the most common standard applications.

The determining factor for the short-circuit current required in the most commonly used low-voltage radial networks is the rating of the low-voltage transformer. The 36 kA breaking capacity of the new NZMC series controls the highest short-circuit currents of the commonly used 630kVA transformer class. Even for networks with transformers up to 1600 kVA, the economical circuit-breakers of the new NZMC circuit-breaker series are first choice: They are based on the high-performance types of Moeller‘s latest NZM series and are also provided with the optimum features of this series in terms of systematic design and simple handling.

Wide setting ranges enable the thermomagnetic releases to be adapted to the permissible load currents of the electrical equipment to be protected. The associated accessories make the NZMC series circuit-breakers suitable for any application, in power distribution networks or in equipping electrical machines
